1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in the Telugu Calendar Panchangam mobile application and on this website. The application and website are operated by the Telugu Calendar Panchangam team ("we", "us", "our").

The mobile application is free and supported by advertising. You do not need an account to use it. We do not ask you for your name, email address, or phone number.

This website is a content website. It does not use analytics, does not display advertising, does not set tracking cookies, and does not collect personal information. The sections below describe the mobile application unless stated otherwise.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, postal address, date of birth, or government identifiers. The application has no user accounts, no registration, and no login.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the mobile application, the third-party services built into it may automatically collect:

• Device and app information — device model, operating system and version, app version, and language.
• Usage information — when the app is first opened, when sessions start, which screens are viewed, and when the app is updated.
• Advertising identifier — a resettable identifier provided by your device, used to deliver and measure advertising.
• IP address — visible to the services the app connects to.
• Crash and diagnostic information — described in Section 6.

2.3 Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The following is stored on your device only and is not sent to us:

• Preferences and app settings
• Saved favourites and reading progress
• Calculator entries and history, including invoice details
• How many times the app has been opened
• Your advertising consent choice
• Whether you have purchased the ad-free option
• Cached calendar and panchangam content, so the app loads faster and works offline

This information is removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall the application. It is not backed up to our servers and is not synced between devices.

3. How We Use Information

Information is used to:

• Provide calendar, panchangam, festival, and holiday content
• Show content relevant to your country or region
• Save your preferences, favourites, and settings
• Provide reminders and notifications you have enabled
• Add events to your device calendar when you choose to
• Let you save and share images, videos, and documents created in the app
• Display and measure advertising
• Understand how the app is used, so we can improve it
• Diagnose crashes and technical problems
• Process and restore in-app purchases

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Advertising

The free version of the application displays advertising delivered through Google AdMob and Unity LevelPlay / ironSource. Unity LevelPlay / ironSource provides mediation, which means several advertising networks may compete to show an ad, so an ad may be served by one of its partner networks.

Ad formats include banner, interstitial (full-screen), app-open, and rewarded ads.

What we send: we pass only the ad placement and advertising settings. We do not send your name, contact details, calculator or invoice contents, or any financial information to advertising providers.

What advertising providers process: your advertising identifier, device and network information, an approximate region derived from your IP address, and your interactions with ads.

Personalized advertising. The application currently requests personalized advertising where this is permitted. Personalized ads use your advertising identifier and ad-interaction history to show more relevant ads.

Consent. If you are in a region where consent is required, such as the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the app shows a Google-provided consent form and applies your choice to advertising. On iOS, the app also asks for permission through the App Tracking Transparency prompt.

You can limit personalized advertising at any time using your device settings, or remove advertising entirely by purchasing the ad-free option described in Section 10.

5. Analytics

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the application is used. This information is collected automatically by the analytics service and includes when the app is first opened and updated, when sessions begin, which screens are viewed, and your device model, operating system version, app version, language, and country.

We do not send your name, email address, phone number, or any financial, invoice, or business information to analytics. We do not create custom analytics events and we do not assign you an identifier for analytics purposes.

Analytics is used in the mobile application only. This website does not use analytics.

6. Crash Reporting

We use Google Firebase Crashlytics on Android to detect and diagnose crashes. When the app crashes, technical diagnostic information is collected: error details, app version, device model, operating system version, and the state of the device at the time of the crash.

We do not intentionally send personal, financial, or business information to crash reporting, and crash reports do not include the contents of your calculators or invoices.

9. Permissions

The application requests permissions only for features you choose to use. You can decline any of them and continue using the app; only the related feature will be unavailable.

• Calendar — to add festival and event dates to your device calendar, and to show your existing events for a selected day alongside festival information. Calendar information is used on your device and is not sent to us.
• Notifications — to show reminders and alerts you have enabled. These are created on your device.
• Photos, media and storage — to save and share panchangam images, videos, and documents created in the app.
• Tracking (iOS) — to allow personalized advertising, as described in Section 4.
• Advertising identifier (Android) — to deliver and measure advertising.

The application does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, or contacts.

10. In-App Purchases

The application offers a paid option to remove advertising. Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store.

We never receive or store your card number, bank details, or billing information. Those details are handled by Google or Apple under their own privacy policies. The application receives only a confirmation that a valid purchase exists, which is kept on your device so that advertising stays switched off.

11. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers listed in Section 8, and only for the purposes described in this policy.

Because these services are active in the application, some information — such as your advertising identifier, device information, and IP address — is necessarily processed by those providers.

We may also disclose information where required by applicable law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or our services.

12. Data Retention

Information stored on your device remains until you clear the app's data or uninstall the application.

Information processed by the third-party providers listed in Section 8 is retained according to their own retention policies and settings, which are outside our control. We cannot promise deletion of information held by those providers.

We do not operate user accounts and do not hold a personal profile about you.

13. Data Deletion and Access

Because the application does not require an account and we do not hold a personal profile about you, there is normally no personal data for us to retrieve or delete on request.

You can remove information held on your device at any time by clearing the app's data in your device settings, or by uninstalling the application. This removes locally stored preferences, favourites, calculator and invoice entries, and cached content.

To limit advertising information, you can reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device settings.

14. Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information handled by the application.

Information you enter into the calculators, including invoice and business details, is processed on your device and is not transmitted to us, which limits its exposure.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. Children's Privacy

The application is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and as described in this policy we do not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers from any user.

Please note that the application displays advertising supplied by third-party advertising networks and currently requests personalized advertising where permitted. We do not currently apply child-directed advertising settings within the application. Parents and guardians who wish to limit advertising personalization should use the device-level advertising controls described in Section 16, or the ad-free purchase option described in Section 10.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the application, please contact us using the details in Section 18 and we will take steps to remove it.

16. International Data Transfers

The third-party providers described in this policy operate globally. Information processed by them may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your own, where data protection laws may differ. These transfers are carried out by those providers under their own privacy frameworks and safeguards.

17. Your Privacy Choices

• Change advertising consent — clear the app's data to be shown the consent choice again, where applicable in your region.
• Limit ad personalization — use your device's advertising settings, or reset your advertising identifier.
• Change tracking permission on iOS — in Settings, under Privacy & Security, then Tracking.
• Remove advertising — purchase the ad-free option.
• Manage permissions — grant or revoke calendar, notification, and photo permissions in your device settings at any time.
• Clear local data or uninstall — removes information stored on your device.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the application or in applicable requirements. The date at the top of this section shows when it was last updated. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to bring them to your attention. You are advised to review this page periodically.
